Guests can make memories with their children by visiting Sandspit Amusement Park, which is a mere 400 metres away. For those travelling from afar, Charlottetown airport is 44 minutes' drive away.

During my stay at Avonlea Cottages, I found the property reasonably comfortable and clean, offering ample hot water and good water pressure. The fans in the bedrooms and living room were a nice touch, providing a cool atmosphere. The full kitchen, complete with coffee, was a great addition, and the fast wifi allowed for some telework. The deck with a grill and dishwasher were convenient amenities, although not utilized during my visit. The location was perfect, offering easy access to the Anne of Green Gables heritage site and Prince Edward Island National Park.While breakfast was not included, which was a preference for my stay, the cozy cottage was well-equipped with rustic decor and comfortable beds. The staff was extremely helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. The cottages provided good value for money, making it a wise choice for those seeking a tranquil retreat in close proximity to key attractions. The serene atmosphere and lovely grounds added to the overall charm of the property.
